Welcome to the home of the Sprite - Midget Club USA!! We are a very loose organization of Spridget owners scattered across the entire USA and other parts of the world. Each Spridget cockpit is a local club chapter and each Spridget owner is the local chapter President! No dues, no meetings, just good fellowship and fun projects! Want to join? Okay, you are in! News: **It's Official!! The biggest Spridget event ever! "50 Years of Midgets - A Spridget Event" will be held June 20-24, 2011 at Elkhart Lake and Road America in Wisconsin!! Our recent poster and logo contest was a tremendous success with President Gerard Chateauvieux winning the competition for the best poster and the best logo (left)! Gerard says he will soon have signed copies of his beautiful poster design available from his personal website: http://www.gerardsgarage.com. You can check out small versions of the poster and logo by clicking on "Poster" on the top menu bar.
Upcoming Events: Planning is underway for - "50 Years of Midgets - A Spridget Event!" . Venue is Elkhart Lake and Road America in Wisconsin's beautiful Kettle Moraine area! Dates are June 20-24, 2011. Several Spridgeteers have volunteered to help but many more are needed. Don't be shy - the more, the merrier!
Ongoing Events:1. 2009 Sprite-Midget Club USA calendars are still available online!! Go to http://www.cafepress.com/spridget/ to get yours! The 2009 Calendars come in two sizes; 8.5 x 11" for $20, and 11 x 17" for $25. A very modest profit from the calendars goes into the seed money fund for the big 2011 50th Anniversary event for the Midget. The 2008 and 2009 calendars were a huge hit! President David Lieb is already working on 2010! This time he wants pictures of your car with YOU in it! It will be fun to put a face and a car to a name! Going to a car event and want to represent the Sprite - Midget Club USA? We've got three soft vinyl banners that stick in the ground. They have the club emblem in black on a white background. To find out how to get one, click on the "Resources" tab above. Just stick it in the ground next to your car! After all, you're the President! Other Spridgeteers will know exactly where to gather for the best Spridget lie.... Ummmm..... "stories." 3. A "Spridgets" Resources tab was added above.
